"Balloonworld I." —What if Earth were tiny — a miniature world drifting through space not alone, but as a cluster of small orbs, each a habitat, gently bumping into or orbiting one another like helium balloons tied to an ice cream truck? … The air would shimmer with cotton candy and popcorn scents, and the sky might stretch endlessly or fold in ways we can’t imagine. Journeys to the next world could take minutes, not years. Might seasons shift in a blink or last generations?… It’s a whimsical vision: a floating garden of tiny worlds, cozy and interconnected. But would we finally see ourselves as part of something bigger — no longer insignificant inhabitants of a lonely planet?
This is the first part of an image with ballons :)
I use many techniques in my art journal to keep things fresh. Sometimes, I prepare pages weeks ahead, letting them sit until inspiration strikes — adding spontaneity to the process.
