“Underwater village” – We only see the houses – tiny, whimsical, and half-hidden among the seaweed. The inhabitants? They’re there, but only if you look closely: a flicker of movement, a shadow darting past, a trail of bubbles leading to a hidden door. The real magic is in imagining who lives inside.
I work in my art journal with lots of different technics to discover. Sometimes I prepare pages weeks before actually use them, that makes the working process more random.
