What if chimneys didn’t just exhale smoke, but whole balloons – round, buoyant, and impossibly vivid – spilling into the sky?Each one rises slowly at first, then catches the wind, bobbing and weaving like a living thing. Some drift upward in clusters, others spiral alone, their bright colors standing out against the gray of a cityscape. They pile up in the air, a floating garden of forgotten dreams, until the sky itself seems to inflate with them.
One of my favorite techniques is working with watercolors. Those luminous, vivid, or delicate hues have a way of soothing my heart. I can lose myself in the process – just a glass of water, my paints, a few beautiful brushes, and a sheet of watercolor paper. The rest is pure magic.
