Eels are the deep’s shy, silver ghosts – sleek and unreadable. Imagine them suddenly gathering silently around something that doesn’t belong. A tiny whale calf, perhaps, drifting in their midst, untouched and unafraid.
The eels move like liquid shadows, their bodies catching the light in flickers of silver and blue. There’s no chase, no threat—just a moment frozen between worlds. The water holds its breath.
And you can’t help but wonder: What happens next?
I work in my art journal with lots of different technics to discover. Sometimes I prepare pages weeks before actually use them, that makes the working process more random.
